Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with various departments to collect, analyze, and interpret large sets of data. You will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that help guide business decisions, improve operational efficiencies, and support strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, clean, and analyze data from various sources to provide actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key metrics and trends.
- Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to understand business needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of data models and reporting systems.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools).
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modelling.
- Familiarity with Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) or cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms or predictive analytics is a plus.
- Previous experience working in a similar is a plus.
